Want to learn about California’s Health Programs?
Health care in California, like everywhere in the United States is a patchwork of programs which is gradually growing to include all people. With the recent extension of Medi-Cal to immigrant children regardless of immigration status, California is closer than ever to having some kind of option for everyone.
The biggest group of people still excluded from Covered California and state programs are undocumented immigrant adults in California. However, many local areas like Los Angeles, Santa Clara, & San Francisco offer health options for undocumented adults as well.
